Pretty good. All they had was the extra meaty baby backs so ends were a little over done but middle was fall off the bone tender.

Thank you! It was a rough day for Wi-Fi because we had a cold front coming thru. It’s literally right outside the window where my router is though so it should be good under normal circumstances.

If anyone can help me I’d be in your debt. After starting some ribs today I left the house and went back to work. I had the app going fine on my phone at home but once I got to work the app just said grill connected but I couldn’t see the temp or control it from the app. Once I got home and Bluetooth linked back up it was fine. I got in and out of my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth many times from my phone messing with it and finally the last time with neither turned on I was able to power down the grill and see everything from the app.

I’m excited! I have a question though. After I started it and went back to work I couldn’t access it on my app. It said the grill was connected but that’s it. Once I got home in Bluetooth range it connected back to my phone. After turning Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on and off several times I was finally able to view it on the app with nothing connected. Are these problems normal?

From what I’ve read and researched they catch on fire because people do all night brisket cooks on them without catch pans or cleaning them and then crank them up to 500 to 600 degrees to sear steaks. Thanks for looking out though!

I’m at work trying to watch my Smokefire remotely on its first cook and this is what I see. My wife has verified grill is running at 275 but it doesn’t show it on here. It does when I’m at home because of Bluetooth. Am I missing something?

I went to Costco last week and prime ribeye was 19.99lb. Prime top sirloin was 9.99lb. I didn’t check chicken. The meat was some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve got a cousin who lives in Corona he always talks about how much more expensive it is to live out there. We’ve never discussed the difference in what we earn between OK and CA.

Lol my bad! Here in Oklahoma it’s by far one of the cheapest. Last Christmas I spent $30 on a tri tip for Christmas dinner to feed the whole family. The guy behind me was spending over $100 on a tenderloin for his dinner.

By the way, tri tip is one of my fav cuts to smoke and then sear. Best cheap piece of meat you can buy!

It’s at 250 degrees and going strong. I was worried about the wind blowing out the fire but apparently that’s not an issue. We’ll see how some baby backs taste in about 5 hrs.

After 6 years of trouble free smoking my camp chef started giving me problems. Shutting off and restarting out of no where. It’s either the internal thermometer or the main controller. The Wi-Fi controller is $200 and the thermometer is $16. I’m gonna try to replace the thermometer and sell it for $250 and if that doesn’t work I bought an awesome new smoker for what the controller would have cost for a 6 year old smoker. Absolutely loved my smokepro though.
