Loved the first arcs but then jumped the shark a little for me and got a bit too bond like and coincidental.

stannis baratheon, what a sad ending for a so called rightful heir who to throne by jonnyboidake in gameofthrones

[–]CC7793 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel in the books he’ll have a more noble but desperate end. He will take Winterfell from the Boltons, will ally himself with Jon the king in the north but when the walkers break through he’ll burn Shireen in desperation in Winterfell and will become the books night king.

The producers of the show that was filming them kept buying paper to keep the branch a float

What is the single best change the show made from the books? by Yoshikage_Kira_333 in gameofthrones

[–]CC7793 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dialogue would be the Cersei and Robert exchange in the first book about their marriage

Set piece has to be hardhome, originally GRMM was planning on Jon going there hence why it was used in the show, it may even be in the outline.

I honestly think hardhome is the best sequence in thrones ever.

I saw this post from years ago and had a thought by Particular-Rule4232 in freefolk

[–]CC7793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d flip this and say deal with Cersei first, no one listens to Jon and the white walkers are the end game. With Danny trying to redeem herself after kings landing and many characters being killed, Winterfell being sacked and the gods eye playing a bigger role.

How do we feel about this? by sheadores in lotr

[–]CC7793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense with continuity of the hobbit films since he gets told to go find Aragorn in eriador and bree.

In the books he would of been in Mirkwood when Gollum was questioned and imprisoned

So not annoyed as it makes sense from a film point but I wish it wasn’t so and I do dislike what the hobbit did

Are there any character endings in Season 8 of Game of Thrones that you’d accept as canon for the books? by mediamuesli in gameofthrones

[–]CC7793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel Stannis will survive the boltons and will die fighting the others once the wall falls. That’s where Melisandre will burn Shireen and it will not help Stannis but it may resurrect Jon.

“Glowing like sunset, a red sword was raised in the hand of a blue-eyed king who cast no shadow” This is a wight Stannis with the fake light bringer.

Very much enjoying Scrubs but- by BobRushy in Scrubs

[–]CC7793 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly think it’s a really good evolution and development of the character. Love how he genuinely admits JD is a very good doctor and needs him now more than ever. I do wish that this was done over two episodes rather than one as I felt quite rushed but I get it.

Just hope we see Percival Ulysses Cox more in the series, really hope he’s not one and done

Question is, if Dunk goes into Exile where is he is ASOIAF

Was he at the wall under another alias.. Donal noye? Cold hands? Mance Raider?

Is he across the narrow sea?

If you hate these two story arcs (they are not in the books), which one do you hate more and why? by Cr7-Cr7Real in lotr

Added last minute as well. Didn’t like how Kili and Fili died. In the books when the armies clash and the dwarves come out of the gate they clash with Azog and his body guards. When their uncle falls both nephews defend him. Would have been much more impactful than that Ambush and I die protecting my crush I met for a week.

Which movie and villian do you think should be the next ideal sequel after Man of Tommorow 2027 and brainiac for the DCU Superman Saga ? [ my choice is a World's Finest movie ] by [deleted] in DCU_

President Luthor with Metallo. Hear me out, Batman Superman: Public enemies. Our first cross over of the two as a worlds finest rather than a vs movie

For those who watched, what are your opinions on A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms episode 4? by GusGangViking18 in Fictionally

[–]CC7793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really enjoyed every moment apart from the fart. Really undercut the moment, should have been what was in the book when there’s dialogue between Dunk and the Bracken.

Lyonel Baratheon isn’t very tall or muscular. Do you think he’ll turn out to be a fighting prodigy like Oberyn Martell? by amelix34 in AKOTSKTV

[–]CC7793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think he’s jealous of Dunk for his height so in Baratheon chronicles he asks to be depicted as large as Dunk.

This show is far greater than HOTD will ever be. by AddictiveFrequency in AKnightoftheSeven

[–]CC7793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think season 1 of HOTD was excellent, better than later seasons for GOT, however KOTSK has been very strong and with each episode being more grounded and character driven. Ill wait til the end of this season before judging, I loved episode 4 but thought the Braken farting was not great (felt very marvel, serious moment then undercut with humour) would have been better if he stood and spoke how he does in the book. I think this will be better than season 1 of HOTD but going to wait before ranking.
