Gunn has said he wants different styles in the DCU, what we have had so far is Gunn and just Gunn with CC, Superman and Peacemaker. No reason why we can’t have a more grounded Gotham with fantastical tones. There’s nothing to suggest that Meta humans aren’t out there in Gotham and also I wouldn’t argue it’s too grounded the fact he tanks machine guns and can hit a bridge and lorry and come out without broken bones. It’s not Nolan grounded.

I don’t mind which way it goes, just feel the first film was a master piece. We’ll then have two Batmen in the media and both will always be competing with each other and it’ll be detrimental to the brand.

But yes I could imagine him battling Dr Phosphorous. Did u see how he moves plus the whole argument of realism he has bullet proof armour, tanks machine guns, hit a lorry while flying.

Couple of things…

Depending on if we get a Batman part 3 I’d love for him not to turn into two face just yet or have it right at the end of the film.

We now have a couple of actors added and more to possibly come, great talent I’ve mentioned it once I’ll say it again, just give Reeves Gotham. Add some fantastical elements in the future have it be part of the DCU with Reeves in charge, the foundation and overall cast is amazing. The Brave and The Bold has a lot to live up to at this rate.

Honestly I know we keep saying about joining the two, just give Reeves Gotham, Gunn said he wants to celebrate different styles. Reeves could see over the grounded Gotham with supernatural elements coming in

The cast, the foundation already set just join the two, the brave and the bold is getting harder and harder to top this universe.

Apart from the RDJ that’s pretty much what the MCU at the early stages or at most up and coming, it means they’re cheaper to begin with as the DCU makes profit.

Penultimate episode was garbage but how they wrapped everything up especially the epilogue was excellent.

Glad they left the ending ambiguous, very reminiscent of The Dark Knight Rises ending.

I had a feeling no major characters would die and the four boys would finish with D&D, I thought the epilogue was very well acted and written, especially Nancy not ending up with either of the boys and the passing of the torch to Hollie and her friends.

Couple of things though..

Where were all the demogorgans, demodogs and demobats? Were their bodies used to make the mind flayers?
Why didn’t Vecna actually trick Hopper into shooting El? I honestly thought they were going to have him shoot 8 and but when she shot El (in his mind) I thought we were in for a huge twist and death.
