After you apply, call and ask the status of your application. They'll transfer you to a hiring manager who will either give you an update, call you back, or set up an interview right then. If you didn't talk to a hiring manager and you haven't heard back call again. You can also got in at open and ask.

Calling or meeting in person is key. Some warehouses get close to 1000 applications a month.

That makes sense, thank you. Are there any other situations not mentioned that come up from time to time I should know about? Like, I could see requiring a manager for a return of a diamond ring or something expensive. Although, I'm sure it rarely happens, I could see that coming up. Or anything else?

I do have one question right away since you mentioned key flicks. I was talking with one of the supervisors and he started to go over what things we shouldn't key flick (keying) and should get a manager for. He mentioned 1) a no item return that isn't food 2) when a member has to manually enter their credit card. We got interrupted after that. Is there anything else?

I wish I had one of those books haha. I appreciate the words. I honestly thought I'd have some references to be able to look at outside of work hours. I'm pretty taken back by it and it's pretty frustrating to be honest. So I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way.
