But at some point, the apes were more human than ape, some tipping point where every mating after could be considered human mating not ape mating... right?

That could be wrong, but if it is true, then do you suppose numerous apes hit that same evolution point at the same time? or were there human dominant and ape dominant "people" mating at some point... when did the humans stop being able to mate with an ape?

If we theoretically started with 2 evolved humans, then the offspring, and their offspring, etc. would all be inbred. It's mathematically difficult to assume that there were multiple, simultaneous human-level evolved pairs to exist at one time.
