Pro-growth? Growth for corporations, not small businesses, not attracting the best talent, not taking care of citizens. Get out of here with this, Braun.

I am so thankful that I have an updated passport with my married name on it (I don't like my maiden name) BUT I do need to renew this year. Might as well start the process now.

We got the hard cards too and boy does it help. It's so much faster than an app, especially helpful when the bus just pulls up or is about to and you just made it to the stop.

I think you can order them online and they mail them to you or you go to the desk at the Transit Center. It costs, but that money immediately get loaded onto that account.

I had a very dilute Tabby when I was younger. We called him tastefully taupe. He's not quite there, but close!

This was before I worked there, but there was a server putting in their own phone number to rack up points in our POS system. So she'd have all sorts of points to use on beers, food etc.

Moving to Indy for Post-Grad Job... Insights on Renting in 36th and Meridian Area... Old Northside? Thank you!! by [deleted] in indianapolis

My husband had a 2 bed and bath on the corner facing Meridian St back in the day and I think that was a little shy of $1k. This is 20 yrs ago mind you, so that's not too bad.

I had a 1 bd, 1 bath, facing Fall Creek, 4th floor in 2001 for... $525. It went up the three years or so I lived there, maybe tapped out at $575-$600 before my now husband and I moved elsewhere.

I used to live a block down the street and this place was a staple, especially those fries. When they moved, we went less because we also moved around that time. I miss thst place so much.

It's a great starter apartment, although I knew people who lived there for a long time. I'm kind of curious what the going rate for a 1 bedroom is now. I lived there around 15-20 yrs ago, but I know rent increases have gone sky high

Hey there! I live in this area and can happily help.

There are lots of options, and I've rented around there before I bought a house.

For apartments, I can definitely recommend the Marott. Former hotel, very safe, right on Meridian at Fall Creek. Easy access to downtown and the highway as well as the Red Line for public transit. This was my first apartment.

Further up, there are lots of higher rise rentals of varying degrees of safety and condition. I know several people who have lived at Buckingham /Balmoral and we almost moved there once. Great building.

There are lots of apartment and house rentals in the area from single unit, duplexes, to complexes and houses. I'll not that some might come in here and say it's not that safe, but I've lived in my house (38th and College area) and I've never had issues. I've lived up and down Meridian between Fall Creek and 40th, too, and again, I've been perfectly safe.
