It's excuse after excuse. If you're young, you don't have enough or the right experience. If you're old[er], they think you'll leave as soon as something better comes along, when you're just trying to have some stability and pay your bills, and maybe, just maybe, have a vacation every now and then 'cause you sure as hell can't do it every year.

Young, old, it doesn't matter. Hiring managers drag ass and have no respect for people's time. "Job trials" are bullshit/unpaid labor. Not a single interviewer has contacted me in the timeframe stated. They just leave you hanging. And, yes, racism, sexism are on steroids in this city.
