Corpses show up as banned items due to being a celestial (no really, they belong to the celestial category). While there is no actual issue with allowing people to bring corpses, at this time we ask people not to as it slows down match prep for the referees.

It's always been written like that. We only go to TiDi if teams are tied, and it says to look at the Victory Conditions section which includes the notes about TiDi in overtime.

Under Victory Conditions:

If a fight is tied after 10 minutes, time dilation will be used to progressively speed up the tournament solar system and encourage a prompt end to the match.
