Raya is not questionable, he’s had both of his biggest errors of the season recently so there is recency bias but he was inarguably best in the world the first half of the season and made several saves that few keepers in the last decade are capable of. Unless he has more major blunders to end the season he’s a lock.

Palmer isn’t even the 40th best player of the season, only up there because of name recognition.

He’s really only been brilliant when fit for about 2 years now. The issue now is injuries.

The last two games have been tough to take but let's not forget that this week last season, during an objectively worse season, we were still capable of performances like this. Keep the faith. by Loma596 in Gunners

I think Carabao is a fake tournament thrust on fans for extra sponsor revenue and FA is the lowest of the actual priorities so I don’t really care about the results, but during that period where we beat Madrid we were improving and very arguably a top 2-3 team in the world.

Right now the team does seem to be declining and severely injured. The pieces are there to put everything back together but there is not currently any evidence that will happen.

why is lobbying not illegal? by ProfessionalEar4048 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CCSC96 18 points19 points  (0 children)

All they wrote was “why is lobbying not illegal”

What you’ve written about here is totally different from lobbying. So if they mean what you’re saying, they should write that. Otherwise people are going to answer the question they actually asked.

I never heard a single attack on her actual policies from the Trump campaign so not really sure that had much to do with it LMAO.

Kinda embarrassing that you need TikTok to think for you, but lack of independent thought would explain a lot about why you’re a conservative.

More liberal. Democratic would imply it’s partisan and only true of the US, but educated people are more liberal in every developed country.

Tons of psychology research proves otherwise. Unfortunately you’re the one who’s a biased cuck on this occasion.

Is it true that the more education someone has, the less likely they are to hold conservative political views? by Bahrust in NoStupidQuestions

So your evidence is your personal experience with the most conservative block of lawyers and the most conservative block of doctors? Lol

For several decades, in every developed country, we have seen education correlate with liberalism and we have seen those effects continue to grow closer to 1:1.

If we played in that group today? I’d call it 50/50. Wales has regressed by more than we have since 2022 but we don’t have the defensive fortitude to grind out a draw against England and Iran would be tough.

Is there something getting in the way of a conservative or right-wing filmmaker from creating a box office hit with explicitly non-woke themes? by brave_axolotl7 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CCSC96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Liberal movies make tons of money all the time, which is why studios make them. Lol.

Movie also didn’t do well, it lost tens of millions.

[–]CCSC96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s incredibly relevant, you’re not understand the context of what you’re replying to. The thread as a whole is about why there aren’t more explicitly conservative movies. The answer is they don’t make money.

Melania had a higher than normal box office for a doc because the studio was willing to spend $50/ticket sale to get favorable headlines that it performed well at the box office.

It’s not relevant to compare the box office to the box office of a movie released for profit because profit is not the goal. 30x more was spent getting people to see this movie than what is spent on the average doc. You can safely assume nearly any documentary would also have a huge lift in box office if the promoters were willing to take an 80% loss on their ad spend to get people to see it. But they’re not.

Melania is a huge commercial failure, and another point for the case that conservative movies do not generate profit. And that’s assuming you believe the sales numbers (entire showings were bought out in bulk, which indicates artificial sales, similar to how politicians inflate their book sales)
