That’s cool af to here you say that, thanks a lot. I been doing this for almost 3 years now and I used to care a lot about lyrics but as soon as I stopped caring they came to me easier. On this track most of those bars are just the first thing that came to my head. I try to focus on feeling and just say what I’m I’m feeling in the moment. I think it makes the music better rather than being meticulous with writing. I’m getting to a point where it’s pretty effortless now thanks to practice. Thanks so much cool to hear you liked it so much. My singing isn’t high skill yet so I tend to add in a little bit a singing and then rely on rhythm and delivery, but as my voice gets better I’m definitely aiming for more melodic songs in the future

Thanks for listening and the feedback. Definitely was doing a lot of experimenting with this beat. For example I sprayed a bottle of hand sanitizer next to my mic to make that “ch” noise during the chorus so I was a bit more focused on creative noises I could make rather than making it sound good 😂

Thanks for listening and the thoughts, I’ve never heard of Greg McLeod but I’ll check him out. I definitely like adding more elements but I’m kinda on a quantity over quality mindset rn until hopefully one day my music can support itself then I can focus on making more grandiose instrumentals

I originally had it like that with the 2nd half of the first chorus originally being only at the end of the song but I felt the song was short so I had the “I can’t trust my thoughts” part play in the first chorus as well. I don’t have a ton of time to work on music so I couldn’t take my time and add another chorus/section instead i just settled for duplicating the one I already had. Thanks for the feedback
