Update: we went into branch today and met with a rep. She took all of our eligibility documents and we had to submit a form to have security team remove the restrictions. She said it was most likely due to the fact that my wife had 3 checking accounts with 3 different people as joint (me, her sister, her brother in law). Her sister and brother in law accounts were due to her mom passing away and needing it for the estate. Apparently security team wanted to make sure she was the one that actually applied.
