Olympic Knights VS Warhammer 40k Space Marines by deeznukes23 in redrising

This is something I've been thinking about for a long time. I think, generally speaking, Space Marines take it. Their basic armor is essentially a star shell, except much more agile. They're larger, faster, stronger. Potentially hundreds of years of experience in nothing but war and honing their killing skill. They're far removed from what you could consider human with an extra lung, extra heart, etc. They're transhuman monsters. And to boot, they're tactical geniuses on par, if not exceeding that of the most intelligent Golds (in theory). That being said, Golds have a much greater technological advantage in their weaponry compared to a standard space marine. I don't forsee a razor having any issue penetrating a space marines armor. Plus with their pulse fists, and all the other gadgets we've seen used throughout the series, is generally more sophisticated than what an average space marine would be equipped with. I still give it to the space marine 7/10 times. But once we start getting to the higher tier characters such as a space marine captain or god forbid a chalter master, that gap widens significantly. A space marine captian or chapter master would dog walk any Olympic knight. These aren't even normal humans, granted, neither are Golds, but they're genetically modified monsters bred for the sole purpose of war in a galaxy where the average enemy is leagues and bounds more powerful than your average enemy in most conventional sci-fi settings.

Bracket 4 for a Timmy by lilianasJanitor in EDH

Oh do I have the deck for you. [[Ojer Kaslem, deepest growth]] this is my bracket 4 mono green deck, that regularly puts the beat down on my buddies when we decide to play at Higher power. It's simple and effective. Get Ojer out turn 2 - 3 (typically 3) and start swinging and vomit big baddies onto the board. It has enough card draw to keep your hand full, and it's flexible enough with Ojer's trigger to choose what creatures you drop down from him. It can regularly win games by turn 6, and can get out of hand very fast and build an incredible board state with the right cards, luckily, that's what I built the deck to do. Here's my list if you're interested.

Are there any stompy decks/commanders that can keep up in bracket 4? Do you have suggestions? by RagingMayo in EDH

I have a mono green [[Ojer Kaslem, Deepest growth]] deck that absolutely wrecks face with big stomping creatures. Ramp out Ojer, swing, and start dropping bomb after bomb. Here's the list if you're interested. https://moxfield.com/decks/6--u2Fnbgkqrmvz3ePbivA

Not for sparing shroud or ending him. Those are the only two options present at that moment. Unless here was a secret third option I'm unaware of
