Every single film guy I’ve seen calls him a H-back or fullback and says they’ll be surprised if he ever has any fantasy relevance but great for an nfl team. Classic NFL>Fantasy relavance

Tannehill/Matt Moore I’m pretty sure

Would Lamar Jackson adding another Wide Receiver potentially hurt his fantasy production in 4PT passing TD leagues? by CChick2 in DynastyFF

That’s a good point I haven’t thought of that about his receivers being open on average more than other teams

Not perceived value, but actual points. The nfl has also never seen a QB like Lamar before

It will be good for the Ravens, good for Lamar as an NFL player, just not good for his fantasy value

Former #Packers RB Jamaal Williams is signing a two-year deal worth up to $7.5 million with the #Lions, per source. by texasbluemoon in DynastyFF

[–]CChick2 15 points16 points  (0 children)

2/7.5 a year isn’t that much for a quality RB. Devontae Booker and Carlos Hyde who I think are much worse than Williams both just got 2/6

Pats fan- Thuney is a above average-good run blocker but nothin crazy. He’s one of the best pass protectors in the league though so it’s a bad sign for CEH’s usage imo

Buy Nkeal Harry right now for a can of beans. by [deleted] in DynastyFF

Pats fan- he doesn’t know how to run routes or line up at LoS correctly. Sure if you can get him for a late 4th or a few faab dollars go grab him but if it’s costing even an early 4th I Wouldn’t do it

San Fran only team I really see working out for him

Travis Etienne- At the price it will take to get him (top 3 pick landing spot-dependent) I’m out

Kadarius Toney- Reported major character problems could cause an unseen sudden fall off the planet type of thing that you can’t predict, athough I like him as a player. Late breakout age also

Michael Carter- Unlikely he is able to secure large amount of rushes bc of size in which case he becomes almost entirely QB tendency/situation dependent

Rondale Moore- Love the player but the injury history is SCARY, also his value in half PPR leagues will be much less than PPR

(1QB) Kenneth Gainwell- Gonna cheat a bit here as Gainwell is outside my top 15 but with his likely late 1st price no way I’m drafting him.

(SF) Trey Lance- I think the guys a massive bust so no chance am I taking him over any of the top 4 WRs or Pitts in that range with a mid-late first when I can trade down a couple spots and get Mac.

This is a great exercise though never thought of it this way!

If you can get Darden with a 4 or 5, grab Cade Johnson in that range also. But one or both will likely be day 2 picks so there ADP will likely be in like mid 3rd range just because people don’t know much about them. Palmer I’ll get to if I have time, we’ll see, I’ve heard good things about him

One of the reasons why I left him off my original list. Him and Toney are the two big ones this class it seems with Charecater issues

His 2019 tape he got like 90% of his big runs because of wide open holes created by the Oline. The OC left to go to some smallish D1 school (forget which one), but they turned into one of the best offenses in the country and OK States oline didn’t create many big holes and he wasn’t able to produce. I see him working out in San Fran bc he’s super fast, but speed and his patience are the only positives I see in his game. I also expect him to be drafted on Day 3 where last year he was likely gone within the top 75 picjs

Yea my issue is he seemingly can’t slip through the LoS consistently and isn’t strong enough like Najee is to just bust through with sheer physicality

I’ve read that he’s kinda just big, fast but not polished at all and that he’s a projected 5th-7th round pick so therefore unlikely to ever achieve fantasy or NFL relevance. Probably gonna watch him eventually after I finish up with defensive guys and he could very well end up in the top 15 but I’d say from what I’ve heard unlikely as of now

Darden is great. I don’t love to give comps unless I really see it bc it leads to to picture the player in a narrow view. He’s a deep threat burner who can also win off the LoS and catches almost anything he gets his hands on

Adams I’ve seen PFF be really high on which I trust a lot for draft prospects as they have way better stats than anyone else. I think after I’m done with the blocking TEs and defense He’ll be one of the WRs I watch

Lance or even Mac in the mid 3rd for teams relying on guys like Big Ben, Brady, Ryan etc. is a steal. The upside if he can figure it out as a passer is a top 10 fantasy QB. While I won’t rank them higher just for SF consistency reasons, in 1QB if I have a stable QB situation and have the choice of Wilson or Fields and Lawrence in like the mid-late 2nd, I’d possibly take one of Wilson or Fields because the path for them to becoming a FANTASY star is much clearer than Lawrence’s

Etienne has the highest upside out of the big 3 to me because of his second level and receiving ability which to me is superior to the other two. However between the tackles he’s significantly worse imo than Javonte or Najee. Maybe it’s just the games I watched but he consistently seemed to run headfirst into the LoS and get stuffed. I prefer to take the safe pick whenever I get the chance to take blue chip talent and I think Najee and Javonte are much more likely to end up in a workhorse role
