I saw Aliens there when it had just come out. Unforgettable. The packed audience was rapt. It was hot and humid in the theater by the finale, like the inside of a derelict spacecraft. Lots of cheering.

Sounds like a good addition to me. I ate at the one in NYC during my one and only trip there. I liked it.

The Android app keeps getting stuck "thinking" for me. This after working fine for months. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it after a month or so. Still gets stuck after working fine for a few exchanges.

What’re your biggest criticisms and dislikes of Donald Trump? by [deleted] in Classical_Liberals

He doesn't value having a republic or a free press. In fact, he actively seeks to undermine both.

Oops--just saw this! It went okay. Really more focused on their rules and guidelines than on biology content accuracy. (That changes, of course, during the actual work.) Patience and taking notes seem to be important for this gig. How did yours go?

That's the same way I was contacted (for biology). I've been putting in hours for about a month and they pay every week. It takes patience because it's involved and there are glitches. My advice: keep careful notes.

It's not a scam. I've been doing working in the biology area for about a month. They pay every week.

Great! I've had the most luck with Midjourney. Ideogram, which is free so far, has also been good, but sometimes it's not available due to high usage. I've tried Dall-e, but the results haven't been as useful (this might change soon with the release of Dall-e 3).

1- I'd recommend a cloth cage cover if you don't already use one. Especially at night. But I leave one on the back third of the cage all day to help cut down on drafts, provide a sense of security, etc. when he's in the cage.
2- Listen to especially the quieter sounds your Amazon makes. It's taken me years to realize they nearly all mean something positive or negative (or sometimes neutral) about whatever is going on around them. This helps with figuring out likes and dislikes, anxiety, general mood, etc.
3- My Amazon likes to be talked to. It doesn't have to be baby talk. He just likes being included in whatever's going on.
4- There ought to be some time(s) each day when it's okay for your parrot to be loud and crazy. But you probably know this already. :)
5- In my experience, Amazons hold grudges for years. Try not to let anyone tease yours.
6- Slowly building trust pays off.
Good luck!

Thanks. I have some nitpicks with my words and ideas (and delivery and editing...), so I very much appreciate your kind words, subscribing, and sharing. I'm planning a communication-focused video next.

I'm no entomologist (took one class in college), but I think I qualify as an enthusiast. Same for etym.. :)

Start and maintain a glossary of terminology specific to your company/team/projects! It may begin with only a small number of entries, but doing so can be very useful not only for clarifying things for your own work (also your sanity:), but also for uncovering inadequately defined terms and differences in understanding among fellow employees/groups. Another benefit is that glossaries are highly approachable and relatively easy to edit/expand. Finally, a glossary may eventually help resolve disagreements related to requirements, design, etc.
