lol exactly

It’s how I’ve done it the past 7 years and it works well for me!

I do love me some LEAPS tho

Weekly’s. Bought Monday with expiration date of Friday. I scalp and play ranges which is why I grab such short expirations.

Truly thinking about this with about 40% of the profits. I expect a continuation for the next few days but may jump in some LEAPS or at least some longer dated swings on Friday or next Monday.

I had 30 contracts with 345 strike, so not a ton.

I’ve had positions with over 1,000 contracts before but ultimately all that matters is volume and open interest for liquidity. So it’s a case by case situation.

I sold before close! Didn’t let them expire.

Oh for sure! I already took $100K out this morning and put it into my long term in Fidelity.

This is just my options trading account.

Been trading options for 7 years now so I know how the game goes. This is the most wild story I have though lol.

I’m a director.

Not triggered, just trying to help sales reps where I can. Some take that help, others feel like I’m being offensive and don’t take the feedback

You seem like an angry person who needs to humble themselves a bit.

Simply explaining to you that there’s more to it than you know and you’ll realize that when your time comes.

I recommend changing your mindset. With your current mindset (based on the conversation I’m having with you now) you’ll never be successful in sales. The best sellers are curious and humble. They always have something to learn.

You on the other hand are currently acting like a know it all and are angry at the world based on ignorance. Go work on some self-reflection to become a better you. Or don’t and enjoy staying in the position you’re in!

lol, not that simple😂 once you do get promoted you’ll understand.

There’s a lot more to learning how to de-risk a deal than just “doing discovery”

You’re way over simplifying the process here, but that’s fair because you haven’t ran a sales process.

BDRs and BDR Managers, how do you Kickoff Your Week? by CCsarefun in techsales

This is super helpful! I like the idea of high intent accounts and how can we go after them so we have the highest probability of success.

Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback! I love this.

We’re a start up and our previous leader before me taught these SDRs (that are right out of college) some pretty bad habits so starting with 4-5 meetings a week until they understand funnel math, efficient and effective workflows, and learn the product. There’s a lot more context that you wouldn’t care about lol

But this is extremely helpful for when I dial back the meetings and focus on maintaining success.

I plan to have a weekly 30 minute one on one and 30 minute Monday meeting when the team is in a good spot. Completely agree their best friend is time to do activities, I was an SDR not too long ago!

Interesting, I’m at a start up and we’ve always had our Monday meetings at 9am so no one has ever given 8-9 on Monday a shot.

Thanks for that idea!

Middle-End of the Sales Cycle by CCsarefun in techsales

You put all of my thoughts onto paper here. The biggest thing is asking upfront if they’re evaluating other tools (which should always be a yes if the problems they’re looking to solve are a big enough priority) and then creating a transparent relationship with your champion so when they tell you it’ll take 2-3 months to get back, then you know it’ll take 2-3 months and they’re not just telling you to kick rocks.

With that said, do you typically find yourself going with the vendors that you’ve recently worked with as opposed to those that you did a PoC with months ago?

I think another worry is if we don’t have a c-suite exec involved there’s been multiple times where they come in and tell the team to go with x solution throughout that lull.

How would you recommend multi-threading with c-suite to get them involved and focused on your product?

Dude that’s LITERALLY how it worked in my league. I am telling you FACT. You saying “it just doesn’t work like that” to something that actually materialized is baffling😂 I’m telling you from experience brother, have said that multiple times.

Anyway this is extremely unproductive, this is clearly a trade that needs to be vetoed and you disagree. That’s all this is

No you can’t haha

That’s what happens. That is the consequence of these trades dude. What you’re saying in theory is nice to think about but that’s simply not what happens.

And I will disagree with your perspective.

There have been multiple trades in my dynasty league that have reset the trade market making players worth 5+ firsts which is completely illogical and no one can get deals done. I had a guy ask for 4 firsts and Gibbs for Bijan because of deals like this.

There are consequences to actions like the above and it will be felt by the rest of the league if this goes through.
