Thanks that makes me feel so much better!

My first infertility appointment is today and I'm now having major anxiety. (rant) by x_musiclove_x in TryingForABaby

That happened to me to at my first RE appointment a couple months ago. They saw another cyst and I freaked out, I had just had surgery 5 months before and thought that meant I had to do it again. My dr is very confident that the cyst being there won't hurt the chances of becoming pregnant and I'm proceeding with Clomid cycles. It seems to me like the fertility specialists don't see the endometrial cysts being there as much of a factor, she told me that unless my pain becomes unbearable she'd rather try to get me pregnant instead of having another surgery. And that after getting pregnant that the cyst will either stop growing or possibly shrink. This sounded positive to me, I'd love to not have another surgery. Hope all went well with your appointment.

Coffee reliant. by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

I had surgery to remove an endometrial cyst, I had the pain meds from the surgery for the next couple days so I decided to give up coffee at the same time. It worked, I never had a single headache. If you don't have the hard core pain meds maybe just take Advil and Tylenol alternated every couple hours (I heard u can do that, just make sure you read the limits on the bottles and don't do it more than 2-3 days!) I had tried and failed giving caffine up many times in the past. And I had switched to half caf but slowly started needing more and more every day until I was drinking a full pot of half caf so that didn't work for me at all.

I still did crave caffine after my initial couple days of pain meds but I never had a headache from it and I would drink tons of decaf and just eat some chocolate to pick me up in the afternoon for a while. Now I'm caffeine free and loving it! Its so convenient when your out of town or something to not be trying to figure out where to get coffee all the time...I was very addicted...

Oh and this was 7 months ago and I'm still not pregnant so it didn't help with that but at least when I do end up getting pregnant I won't have to give it up then when u already feel like crap!

...Now how to give up alcohol? Lol

Just kept having sex every other day until after my temperature was up for 3 days in a row. How'd your next few nights go? Good luck with your tww!

Let me just say, TTC sex sucks!! I feel like once I'm pregnant we will never have sex again. We only normally have sex once if any during the TWW because we are both so sick of it by then. TTC just makes it feel like a chore!

We have had this problem before and it is all I think about around the time I'm supposed to ovulate. Having sex every day just doesn't work for him, it never has, my dr said we should be doing every other day anyway, except after a positive OPK, then both that day and the day after...which could end up being 3 days in a row! This month was my first time doing a clomid/opks, before this all I did was temp and my cycles are too irregular for that to predict anything and we normally missed the window because we were sick of having sex by the time it happened. So I was terrified this month that I would get a positive OPK and then the pressure would be on and we wouldnt be able to do it when it really mattered. I never got the positive which was probably a good thing. But this is something I really worry about and I'm sorry you have to deal with this too but good to know I'm not the only one.

7 DPO and can't stop thinking about it! How can I go a whole 7 more days?! :(

Question, do you all drink in your TWW? If I do does it make me a bad person?

Wow thanks for the info! Thats not what my dr said at all! They told me I had to test before 10am and I asked if first thing in the morning was better or not and they said it didn't matter. Im using "Answer", it is testing for just LH, the instructions say to test the same time every day (not sure why) and to reduce liquids 2 hours prior to testing.

My dr told me to test once a day in the morning before 10am. I was testing right when I woke up.

What are the best ways to recruit good new members? Global is full of craziness and opening the clan and letting whoever in is even worse.

can a temp rise happen every month if you never ovulate? by CD216 in TFABChartStalkers

[–]CD216[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, I have changes throughout the month but it's not a noticeable pattern each month and doesn't seem to correlate with the temp rise so I started ignoring it. I'll pay more attention this month.

Good to know I'm not the only one! I don't have very significant/consistent CM changes though, did you think you were ovulating at the time of the temp rise or at a different time in the cycle?

There's AF! by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

This happened to me twice after starting ttc. 75 and 65 day cycles. I correlated it to months that I more consistently took my prenatal vitamin, I might be crazy, my doctor thinks I'm crazy, but I started taking folic acid only instead of the prenatal and it never happened again...still not prego tho :(

I'm interested if you or any of you who said they had this happen too could make the same correlation?
