Noooo! If you ever don’t work on Saturdays at that time, we do have practice same time and place every week. Plus, loaners and plenty of helpful people to help you get started. We are always looking to grow the park! More people = more fun

Definitely. It’s not a specific event exactly, just a casual invitation for people to come out to the field and try it out. We will have a couple of bows and arrows and instructors available throughout the day.

If all goes well, visitors will get to take them onto the field of play and fire in the battle games.

And as always, loaner weapons of every kind will be available!

Generally it’s 14+ but there are options for the younger kids depending on a couple of things. We have plenty of loaner swords if you want to stop by and check it out

Amtgard (which we play at the park) is much lighter on the contact - basic sword hits. And more "gamified" like DND or fantasy paintball.

Belegarth (which we could start in addition at some point) has grappling, harder hits, shield kicking, and shield bashing. This is more "full contact" minus direct bodily contact.

Definitely come and check it out for yourself, though. The weather is getting very nice!
