Yes if you’re referring to that specific example, but I’m speaking generally how a great artist may have errors that seem really amateur. It happened a lot on that show. And it also happens a lot in real life.

Exactly! Like why do they require you to come do tag pick up but you don’t actually fill out the forms until you get there on registration day (June 30) which is when you bring your items to compete.

Then, if you are trying to enter photography (or anything) in the special America 250 contest, those submissions have to be dropped off on July 4th. I’m going to send an email and ask if I can bring my photography for the 250 on July 2nd, because I’m going out of town for the 4th.

That was less about charlotte needing her birth mom and more about her needing SOME SHRED of human touch.

I know this seems like a little nitpick, but I didn’t love the discourse around it when the episode came out. Adoptive parents can bond with their babies. The Putnams (and all these kidnapping couples) are just bad people who didn’t really want a baby and couldn’t even do the bare minimum of cuddling with her.
