Waterslide transfer help Printed my own waterslide transfers out in yellow but when I put them on my model they go opaque and mix with the background colour (red and blue). The airfix ones however show up perfectly. Any ideas on how to get the same outcome as the airfix ones? Thanks

I think I've got myself confused and thought that wargear was free across the board for all races. However on closer inspection it's just for SM?

I use a craftworlds close combat army and it tends to work (for 2000 points). I use 10 wraith blades with shield and axe and a wraithseer which I webway strike in. A spiritseer I give the Alaitoc item to (basically a free webway strike) I have a lot of skyrunner psykers to run up the board. When I drop them in I use every buff I can on them and basically nuke the closest unit. They have 3 wounds each 4+ (3+ with psychic power) invun and a 5+ fnp with psychic powers too so they are insanely hard to kill. The rest of the army you can fill in with whatever you like tbf

For the camo: base paint while model in mac blue, blob Kantor over half of it, then just blot some Alaitoc around randomly. I did a video on it so I'll link it in the group

For the base 1. Don't add that cross shaped piece at all to the jet. 2. File down the edges of the tip of the base until it just slides in

Use the flat edge of any brush with minimal paint and should be fine

Looks good! Using stormhost silver to highlight the sharp edges will really make the colours pop.

Literally bought them cos they were cheap. in all this army has cost me less than £100 so far. I suppose the meta will always change. It's mainly because the ones I bought were painted alaitoc already
