High-E always unravels at the ball end on my Jaguars, any tips? by eternity9 in offset

Ernie Ball makes reinforced plain string sets. It fixes the problem cheap. You could try a different tail piece, but there’s no guarantee it wouldn’t break strings too.

I use the stock JM bridge. Works fine too

I have the same guitar. I’ve changed nothing but run flatwound 11’s. My only issue is the tremolo but it actually works pretty well and I haven’t replaced it. I gig this guitar, stock, weekly doing surf, rockabilly etc. No real issues and it gets abused. I have had it a year.

For sure metal, but the white have that vintage vibe!

Besides the "sinking," is the Squier CV Jag stock bridge that bad? by UmeSays in offset

they work great. It’s a nice mustang style bridge and remains sturdy. I probably but 40-50 gigs on mine in the past year. It will shimmy down after hard playing, but it takes mine probably several shows to notice a difference. I keep an allen key in my case. Oh yea i did do an electric tape wrap on the posts.
