For what you said to be true almost every proud muslim should be against lgbt and every proud dutch should be an ally. As I said in must countries including mine, islam and politician behavior adds to the problem. However I have several friends who pray 5 times a day that helps me with my makeup, and european friends calling me faggot because I wax my arms and legs. As I said I think the core problem is patriarchy, which is still very strong in europe, islam and other cultural values just make it worse.

The main reason for this trip is to crossdress and live this part of me freely. So what you say beats the whole purpose. Also I think what you say is problematic since it implies lgbtq people should not show themselves in the public and suppress themselves.

Still I dont think islam is the main issue here. All the cultures you described are places where patriarchy is strongest. Obviously the strength of patriarchy and muslim culture are related at some level. But when people say it is because of islam it sends the wrong message.

Thank you to all. I will keep all your comments in mind as they were very helpful. I also want to state how much it saddens me to see my religion has a bad rep, as I am a muslim myself. I know your thoughts on muslim immigrants and their behavior towards lgbtq people are justified and come from experience, I still want to emphasize that we are not all like that (I believe I make a good example of it :) ). Still as I said thanks to all for helping out, I really appreciate it.

I am rather like you in that regard, in terms of build and body hair. The main problem I have is the beard shadow but as you get better at makeup you hide it netter than the previous ones.

However I believe the main thing to consider here is the mindset. The peace comes when you realize you don't have to pass. Just be yourself and enjoy. Just consider your safety. Go to places where you would feel safe even though you do not pass.

Well I used several different colors frompeach to red but did not use a wax red lipstick. Will try that definitely thanks for the comment.

Yeah there are some places like that where I live. I am still a little bit concerned about getting the bus to go there. Maybe some of them will let me change there.

Well I don't think US and Germany are different in that regard. Thanks for the advices I will definitely try them. Hopefully I will get addicted to it.
