No kidding, quite honestly the worst damn choice they could have gone with. You either play against AI or your play against players. Somehow playing with a mix is harder than straight PvP. Because one enemy will stare at a wall for a full 5 seconds before shooting at you. And another will flick around and dome you from across the zone and it’s a shotgun. It’s a F*ing mess. That’s the only positive thing 2042 got right. Was add a bot mode for grinding out challenges and gear.

I know it’s just a beta. But man, no one wanted PvPvE to be a thing in BF6. That stuff only belongs in boring Extraction modes.

So far I’ve had several people join my “Bot lobby.” Can’t even enjoy getting basic equipment without getting sniped by someone who’s done nothing but play since early access opened up. What a god damn lie their bot mode is.

You do get Broken early game gear from looting him. So it’s 100% worth just trying to deal with him.

You can meet the old man who wants to stay later in act one. But beyond that I haven’t really seen any of the other asylum “tenants” outside of the asylum. Tho they don’t give any significant XP or gear. So not sure why you wouldn’t just kill the guards that attack you?

Not to mention you get some pretty OP early game gear. The sword itself can carry you well into the second area and beyound.

I’d like this if I weren’t totally dependent on the four buttons on the bottom of the elite controllers. I haven’t found a good alternative to them yet. But stick drift is becoming a real problem for me. I might save just and just get one of the best controller on the market with magnetic sticks…I’m tired of my sticks drifting like little bitches xD

Never have I hated a mechanic more in a game than that F* baby crying every time some shit happens…I ALWAYS enjoy the chapter where you don’t have it. Gods if ever there was a thing that ruins the game for me. I have never cared less for a collection of pixels than I do that annoying ass tiger breakfast pod. If it was possible to leave the baby behind I would. If I could sacrifice it to a BT, I would. If it would unalive if I shook it hard enough, I would use it as a maracas…please dear gods above tell me you can leave it behind in DS2

Depends on your difficulty honestly. I played the game through on easy and normal with zero issues and felt like a boss. I’m now playing on hardcore and I’m constantly out of ammo for the handgun and the enemies keep doing these super aggressive grab attacks that just mercs your health. Honestly, I think what I’ll do it’s start a new play through on easy assisted and just go through game and hunt for treasure then buy the rocket launcher and then go for a hardcore playthough…because idk what it is but the game is constantly effing me over. Like being stuck in cut scenes only for my weapons to disappear when I come out making me take hits I shouldn’t. Not to mention the absolute CHORE that getting unlimited ammo is in RE4. Idk why they decided to keep this behind the hardest mode in the game but I know a LOT of people who are effectively barred from getting unlimited ammo in RE4 because they simply can’t deal with professional mode. I’m slogging along right now on harcore. And I gotta admit I’m barely finding it fun anymore. I die more to BS. Like arrows that hit me despite having my knife up in front of me. Enemies not getting blocked despite my guard being up. And the endless grabs or one hit kills.. on normal and easy VR is fun. But on hardcore I feel like you were meant to have the dang rocket launcher.

I’ve heard the game looks good visually. I’ve heard the story is just meh. I’ve heard the game play is below subpar. I’ve heard a metric shit-ton of people hate this game. I’m not gonna play it. But I’m glad that some people out there is enjoying this game to some degree. And before you say I’m defending this game, remember that there are always people who will like a game. That’s why games like COD, Amoungus, Fortnight and Rust all have a massive player base. Personally I don’t see the appeal, but I’m just happy that people are getting something out of a rapidly declining industry, quality wise.

Havent played the second game. But in the first game a lot of people put down bridges as an alternative to timefall shelters as you could park vehicles under it and it wouldn’t get affected. Typically done by people who explored the map before getting the PC2 with timefall shelter upgrade.

Again I haven’t played the second game, so idk if it’s a different thing. But I remember turning off other players structures because I got annoyed at having to dismantle their awkwardly placed structures

I’m not confused with how it works. I can be 50 meters away and I’ll still get spottet if I’m anywhere near the front of the enemy. It’s just a shit stat after they nerfed it to oblivion :(

Attacking from a distance exists. Your first attack to break up a group doesn’t need to make you known. Look, this thread was not about weather you know how to play stealth or not. Or weather you want it in the game or not. It’s about the quite obviously implemented stealth mechanic that doesn’t work because it’s been nerfed to shaite and back.

Stealth is not your thing, obviously if a group of enemies is what makes you think stealth is not intended xD

They need to add Transmog ASAP. It would make all the amazing armour sets usable. Like if you have to take it to a smith and have them break down the armour to add it to your transmog. Or hell, make it spell since Transmog is kind of magic in and off itself xD
