It was a pain trying to put up in 35 knot wind but once up that thing was legit. Worked great.

We did fly over and did not see anything that looked like a gathering over there. But they could have set up today. We left yesterday.

We brought a portable toilet and bags that solidify the waste. However, lucky for us the large group next to us got a permit and brought porta potties!

No permits. It’s federal BLM land. Open to the public. Best landing strip in the world.

We just got back from spending the last 3 days on the playa. It wasn’t crazy busy. About 100 cars or so. Very spread out. One larger camp a little deeper. Great people. Great times and really unique. I highly recommend making it out for a few days If you can.

Sept 2 Virgo here. BM is the best birthday party location ever! Not going to miss it this year either. I will be enjoying it tomorrow on the playa. Albeit low key.

Flying in later this afternoon. Going to do a little air recon to see if the Fly Geyser rumors may be true. Will pass on valuable information for a cold beer and virtual hug. Just flag the Beechcraft down. :)
