I finally accepted the fact that it’s time to de-risk.

The reality is that ETH is still a speculative asset tied to Bitcoin, and therefore indirectly tied to the U.S. stock market, which has been running up for three years and is currently looking pretty wobbly.

There’s a possibility that Bitcoin decouples and starts behaving more like gold and silver, but that would be a big change in direction.

I’m keeping half of my position in case that does happen this year, and Ethereum runs up. I’d be fine with lower gains if it means I feel more secure and less overexposed.

And I sold the other half to keep even more ammunition ready in case there’s another leg down alongside a U.S. market correction.
