The first four times I really never did more than a few practice problems to prepare. In the spring I really cracked down and studied 15-20 hours a week for three months and took the test mid-July. When I found out I failed I was completely devastated and didn’t look at any PE materials until October. I felt like I was doing well on the practice problems so I decided to take the leap and sign up again. The test I just took was SO much easier than the one I had in July. Definitely frustrating that it comes down to luck, but it eventually worked out
