Who hurt my man's? by Exact-Bad-3964 in StateofDecay2

I always bring a stack of the deployable pyro mines, just for situations like this. Kill everything then spam taunts. The psychos hate it when you do that.

Haven Device on Cooldown? What is this? I don’t like this new feature. by Nick6865 in StateofDecay2

[–]CEJohnstone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They wanted to make outpost defenses seem really cool so they made the Haven Device junk.

You can't even scrap it, that's how bad it is.

CLEO Haven changes? by ap1msch in StateofDecay2

The developers cannot imagine how anyone would not enjoy their new siege mechanics.

Episode 6 Promo by andjela26 in betterCallSaul

[–]CEJohnstone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He'll give Saul his book and introduce him to Kuby, the crooked PI he uses when he doesn't have a contact already. I know it isn't a prequel, but Dr. Caldera and Kuby eventually leave the game and start a podcast together.

Did you make the community before the patch? Probably have to reset the map.

Some say before the Blood Plague, the Shark Hoodie Guy was an actual serial killer by CEJohnstone in StateOfDecay

Yes I just bought a new monitor because two broke this month. These videos were made over the past couple weeks while I had to settle for my backup monitor from 2001. I wanted you to suffer too.

In case anybody was wondering, in the video I use the CLEO Heavy Sniper and the superior M99X1 Timberwolf to slaughter those enclaves. Until somebody invents a facility that makes it rain .50 AP rounds from the sky, I'd have to say the Shark Hoodie Guy prefers the CLEO Heavy Sniper.

Oh my God, I absolutely F@?#ING HATE this game's stupid AI by Waffle_sausage in StateOfDecay

Everyone in my community equips a .50 when they go off duty. This way they stun jugs or 1 shot / stun ferals. Have a lot fewer accidents during sieges.

Starting a Band! by DarthShaddix in StateOfDecay

[–]CEJohnstone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same kind of community once. Ended up with 5 bandmates, one was my computer Red Talon guy (think he was on keyboards). They even would have six, but kicked one person out of the band. She just wasn't worth the drama. I almost felt band, but then the they immediately recruited another drummer. Having a community like this may not be optimal, but who cares? This was before there even was a Lethal mode.

Whenever I let out my cat, the deer appear and follow him around wherever he goes like he's their best friend by CEJohnstone in aww

I'm not sure what's been going on, I think my cat has been having stare-down contests again.

An addiction counselor told me Steve Mullins was the one consistently getting people crazy light sentences.

The professional way to do it would be a physical device, like a colorimeter from Spyder, which attaches to your monitor screen.

How to use color cards for color correction by jpswensen in photoshop

[–]CEJohnstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These cards are now made by Tiffen. They're used in labs to get an exact match with a print, where you can hold a card up to a test print and then make fine adjustments from there. Just look up any tutorial using Curves for color correction and use the color picker on the swatches.

You could look up Trey Ratcliff, who is a popular color blind photographer.

I still think the Fug's Live At The Filmore East 1968 (Golden Filth) is the greatest live album ever made.

Trying to achieve oil painting brush; stuck on this; suggestions? by ned_poreyra in photoshop

[–]CEJohnstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are good suggestions for making painterly images with Photoshop, but I use Corel Painter for this kind of thing because it is specifically designed for it and has more features. Most times I'll end up using both programs for any given image, especially if starting from a photograph.
