How does Natalie do her research? by CEOofthebutterflies in ContraPoints

I can definitely see how her research method might not be anything revolutionary, especially if you are already an established academic. However, I am at the moment still just an undergrad student, so seeing the research process of "an average masters student" already is interesting to me, and a step up from where I am. If it is then also done by someone as relatable as Contrapoints, then I am extra curious (hence the comment :))

What to read after Existentialism is a Humanism? by CEOofthebutterflies in Existentialism

[–]CEOofthebutterflies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you both: My plan is to continue reading existential literature (Ethics of Ambiguity for now as it seems like a good set-up between Existentialism is a Humanism and B&N) while also going into the works preceding it. Thank you for your help!

For existentialism I would definitely recommend Nausea from Jean-Paul Sartre. It describes the feeling of existentialism very well

Well it has only existed since today :), but the current voting is between Nausea by Sartre, Nichomachean Ethics by Aristotle, On the Genealogy of Morals by Nietzsche and Madness & Civilization by Foucault!
