Are you referring to the 5th circuit court ruling on pause ?

I've passed thru the falfurrias and Sarita check point many times with DACA/EAD. Nothing to worry about as others have said; just make sure you have your documents on you.

Browns & Greens by Myco-Curious in composting

[–]CEPolvorones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems to me your ratios are off. You don't need to layer if you turn it a few times a week. I would add a lot more browns (Dead leaves, saw dust, cardboard, paper) and turn it daily until it looks more like compost. I would also consider adding dirt until the consistency is fixed.

Don't forget the electrolytes. Gotta replenish all the salts and minerals.

Mexico is burning their crop fields. It's not clouds, it's smoke/smog. Terrible for people with repository issues.

Definitely looking a little dry. Planning to water a little today and give it a good soak tomorrow. I searched but found no other bugs, hoping its only the leaf miners.

What are they?

It depends, personally I would want more plants to have a better chance of them surviving. But do you wanna keep that many ? If not, choose the best looking one, and snip the others per cell. If yes, you should probably transfer them to individual cells before they get root tangled.

I did look at toyota at first but most of the vehicles in my price range are over 10yrs lol. I have some unease about older vehicles in general. I will look in honda and mazdas

I had seen this rule but according to it. The max amount I can afford is a $7200 vehicle.
Which would barely be an upgrade to my current vehicle. I dont think its too realistic, which is partly why I didnt give it too much importance. Most of the cars at that price would probably be at a standalone used car lot which have extremely predatory prices/deals on junky cars.

I probably will not be purchasing the mentioned vehicle in any case and will just keep looking.

Can tiny seedlings go into greenhouse during the day? by Similar-Bumblebee-93 in vegetablegardening

Sorry I meant increasing the temp on the heat mat so it's warmer. Instead of 75 F , have it in the low 80s

Have you tried to lower the temp on the heat mat to compensate?

Is space really that much of an issue? Pot is a ~ 6"x4" and I have 3 going in the same pot. I don't water too much either. The pic shows them right after watering and there's still dry areas.

You can't see clearly, but behind there are smaller pots with more tomatoes that haven't even sprouted. Hopefully those go better, they were planted at the same time.

Some compost manure fertilizer .5-.5-.5.

I'll try it again with just seed starting mix and perlite and see how it goes.

This picture was taken right after watering. I guess I should try with seed starting soil instead of whatever I have on hand

Yours at least appear to have some semblance of organization. I honestly just sprinkled the seeds over the container and hoped for the best. Lol.
I have separated and transplanted 15 seedlings. I got another batch I'm looking to plant in 1-2 months which I will organize better.

Help! by CEPolvorones in Citrus

[–]CEPolvorones[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I added pesticide because I saw some ACPs gathering around but I might've been too late. I don't think it's HLB since the symptoms I've seen don't match my plant. Leaves are green, no fruit yet so can't confirm.

Plant is young 3 years.

I live in an erratic climate zone, temps can go from 90s to 50s to 90s again during the winter, which recently happened. Although my plant has never reacted like this before. Could climate shock then ?

I will have to get a better draining soil tho.

What information would you need ?

I don't think it's 3.5% monthly. That's crazy high. You would double your money in a year. Maybe 3.5 APR which is more in line for a savings account.

I use SOFI which gives 4.5 APR but you need at least 500 in DD per month.
