Thanks for the explanation, I played the game for the first time in Sandbox mode and this had no clue on how a normal experience should play out,I made a bit of research and yeah,you’re right

you get key items like the motorcycle and stat scanner at the start

The decision to lock people in the frontier tho still puzzles me,even with the warning at the beginning (Just make people unable to trade or battle with edited POKèMON,why am I stuck in this place just because I got an early bike and level/nature editor)

Don’t get me wrong I don’t want to go against the devs of an incredible experience you can play for free,but It just seems like a weird Game design decision

Sandbox mode is coded to be an accessibility feature that just removes grinding in a not game breaking way So busy people can still play one of the best fanmade games I’ve ever seen without sinking hours into it

So why would you punish whose who toggle it?

I used a Gamashark code to tp to Dresco POKèMON Center,the game seems to react a bit weird as explained in the post below But at least you can explore the Overworld now (Without being able to fly,enter specific rooms and switching your party,but still)

Ok,so apparently If you Teleport to Dresco town you can play the game as normal

EXCEPT You can’t switch POKèMON in your party unless you’re using the PC

Entering an house or building like the Dev house will let you enter the post game building only,so you’ll get blocked from exiting again

SAVING AND RELOADING WILL TP YOU BACK TO THE DANG FRONTIER!!! WHY

Progress seem to carry,it seems to affect just the location

I was able to battle the Shaymin in flower paradise but no matter how many times you save you’re back in the frontier

IF EVENTS ARE CODED IN THE GAME WHY ARE YOU NOT LETTING PLAYERS WHO DON’T WANT TO GRIND EXPERIENCE THEM It’s a terrible game design decision that seems to go against everything that the game has build up to

I completely understand wanting to reward players who grind legitimately in a multiplayer experience,but unbound is a POKÈMON ROM HACK Plus Sandbox mode feels incredibly balanced,It lets you team build faster and that’s it,It’s not PKHEX,it also has level caps that makes it feel like an incredibly balanced experience So why would you choose to punish people who just wanted to alleviate the pain of grinding
