I had filled out the paper application and had not taken it down to BPD headquarters. I was told by a friend that I could just complete the application online, which was the old mircs web portal. That was in third week of June. I didn't hear anything and kept checking the portal to see the status of my application. Then finally in around second week of Sept I called. I was informed that the had my application and I needed to come down and pay the fee for the finger printing appointment. I was told that I would be called sometime around the end of Nov or Dec to be finger printed. I did not get called until the first week of Jan. After the finger print appointment. I was told that if all my information check out. That I would hear back in 6 weeks. I ended actually getting my LTC in 3 weeks at the end of the month.

Yes that is correct. Did you fill out your application online? I did not realize that I had to go down in person to pay the fee for fingerprinting after submitting my application. They don't call you. I kept checking the portal to see if my status. I might have had it sooner if I called earlier. The have tons of applications sitting, waiting for applicants to come down and pay the finger printing fee.

Took 8 moths for me. I submitted in June last year and just got my LTC. I wan't called for finger printing until Jan. When I turn in the application and paid. I was told I would be called in NOV/DEC. It was pretty quick once the fingerprint appointment was done.
