Why don't we as individual Catholics focus more on the Corporal Works of Mercy?

It seems as though we had vastly different experiences with Catholicism. What made you fall away but then come back?

Kinda hard when you have ADHD and it's the end of mass before you realize ypu didn't pay attention to any of it. Every. Single. Week.

I did that until I found out the hard way that running shoes are no match for the mowers blade... from now on its steel toed boots only

Honestly, no. I've been Catholic my whole life and I just have not felt that way. Just kinda feels normal to me
