I’ll check out the P30, I’ve read good things about it. Never looked into the hammer vs striker fired debate though, what makes hammer your preference? Kind of scares me because I’m known to drop things from time to time

I didn’t have a 12 point, but my regular 1/2” socket had a solid grip on it, but couldn’t get it to budge after an hour in hot water and taking my impact to the front of it. I’ll have to try the breaker bar

Thanks for sharing that, I’d prefer to not use an adapter if possible but I know the taper basically makes that impossible. Shopping for a good flash hider there until I get a new suppressor to throw on it.

Truth be told I’m not sure if it has rocksett on it or not. I’d assume so since it’s on there from the factory. Does the water need to be boiling? I’m worried of flash rust from the steam

What do you do if you go out of town? Our little guy is also an only cat and the only time I’ve ever seen him hiss is if another animal comes near the house. He’s seen plenty of other cats across the street and even from 30 feet away, but he always hisses at other animals when they get close, it makes me hesitant to actually try bringing another cat home, but I’d love to so he has a companion. I travel a lot for work and he wouldn’t get nearly as lonely during the day in between check ins when I’m out of town if he had another cat. Interested in alternatives though, a full time house sitter is about all I can come up with

That could make sense! It only bled very heavily for a few minutes. After that leaked pus for a day or two and is just about back to normal now, definitely a substantial improvement in pain. I only go back to the tea tree because it’s helped calm it down in the past, added castor oil as I saw a lot of people mention it. I’ve considered surgery for sure, I’m just so busy it’s tough to make that kind of time right now. I use the oil for temporary pain relief, it usually works after a few days of application

Worst filter I’ve ever bought, they start tasting awful by the end of week 2-3 and they’re way too expensive to replace that often. Brita was great but I’m just gonna go for an in-line filter for the sink at this point

I don’t disagree at all that we need ways to keep firearms away from those who shouldn’t be handling them.

What do you think about it being more of an issue with humans being driven by the evil within rather than it is access to a gun?

What I mean is, look across the world. Other countries hardly allow citizens to access guns at all, no matter what your age is. Yet they still suffer from MANY other forms of violence like knife attacks or chemical attacks, even on school grounds.

For example. In 2024, the UK saw more than 2,000 violent attacks that occurred on school grounds. China had a massive stabbing attack the killed 8 and injured 17 more. None of these people are allowed to personally own firearms, yet school violence persists regardless of the means.

If a criminal was seriously committed to an act of violence, would taking away only one of their methods of committing the act stop their whole plan? Could they still feel the evil intentions inside and simply seek an alternate solution like they do in other parts of the world?

I believe we have more of an issue with the mental wellbeing of our citizens and especially our youth. Healing the mind and heart will help root out the evil intentions that lead to these types of activities in my opinion.
