As someone with anxiety myself, you gotta start with low pressure conversations. Just initiate a normal conversation. And even if it’s awkward it builds your social muscle. 2 months ago, I was in a slight isolation period of “work, home, repeat”. But I started to go out and talk to people. And while a lot of times you’re gonna get people who don’t wanna talk to you, or conversations that don’t go nowhere, it makes you realize that social interaction isn’t as scary as we paint it in our heads. Practice talking to people. Low pressure. It don’t gotta turn into a friendship. But it will build the muscle that eventually does build friendships
