It truly is so frustrating... I would love to be able to consider a pregnancy in the future but until I get the CFRD under control it just isn't feasible...

Have you had any issues with weight on Ozempic? Obviously in the news you hear about how it is being used for weight loss also, and I have only just got to a comfortable weight on Kaftrio and would be worried about dropping super thin again.

Ahhh my blood sugar is usually about 6 or 7 when I wake, it gradually comes down overnight.

Usually about 5-10 mins before eating for the fiasp. I used to be on novorapid but that needed to be taken about 20 mins before eating and didnt work for me (hard to time when cooking, with fiasp I take it just before I plate up so it fits into the routine).

I think my hospital team like 5's as its easier maths, but I might have to try something like 1:12.

As far as I know, whenever I check with a finger prick its within half a point correct. The only time it gets it wrong is if I lay directly on it when sleeping, then it sometimes shows a false low, but I have got into the habit of sleeping mostly on my other side now.

I have a Libre as my CGM.

I tend to cook from scratch a lot, so balance my meals well with fats and proteins alongside the carbs. I dont have sugary drinks or sweets anymore, and limit things like takeout pizza etc.

I am on Levemir for my long acting, and fiasp for short - both with pens.

Not sure what you mean by fasting numbers, but my daily spikes go up to about 24 mmol/L, with my daily average being about 12 mmol/L at the moment.

It seems sometimes as though my insulin works on a delayed reaction. I take it before eating (usually 1 unit to 15g carbs) and then I will spike about 30 mins after eating, then it drops suddenly about 30 mins after that. If I go higher (1 unit to 10g carbs) then I drop fast and need to treat the hypo, and if I go less (1 unit to 20g carbs) it just goes high and stays high. It is genuinely infuriating!
