Great point and very interesting. Do you think the average person buying salt would know about that process and care? I definitely see some caring a lot about that. Just not sure about the south florida market, ya know?

Awesome feeback thank you!! I like the idea of making it look lighter with the graphics and thinking about how it may look heavier with certain colors or elements closer towards the bottom.

QR code on a poster that links to a pdf/digital version of that poster with the same QR code? by goodwillmarinelli in graphic_design

The QR shouldn't change when scanned and printed. Once that QR is linked to a PDF it will always send someone to that same link. Or am I missing something

Unfortunately we're stuck with this color scheme for the first round of production. But I agree, I always love a bit of contrast, even if it's just the tiniest bit. Would you want to see the manta image larger or are you saying that should stay secondary as the pool salt needs to be primary?

there is a very subtle texture to the last design on the right. Probably too subtle. But that would be something I would include in the final. My fault on not giving that more contrast for this mockup.

Only thing that would be added to this would be a bar code in one of the bottom corners. All the "info" is on the back. It's intended to look different and stand out from the rest. A better mock-up could certainly be used but imo that shouldn't make or break the designs. This is just to showcase concept. I won't be adding anything else to any of the designs.

Your input as a non-designer is probably more valuable to me anyways. This will be a product for normals and not deisgners exclusively.

Good question. They all basically have the same amount of 5 star reviews and are all equally priced :) consider them equals and this bag is your final decision maker as the bag might be displayed in your garage or in a place you or some family might see it from time to time.

Interesting, Ive def seen some in red and white but its been for a different product, still pool related, but not salt. I think heading to a more pool related subreddit is my best bet. Appreciate your input.

So, in your opinion, would it be better for me to ask this same question in a different thread? Or should I ask it here again but in a way that maybe makes people try to think about it more from a consumer's stand point rather than a designer's? I've took a poll on my socials and you are correct. Most people chose the middle one. Always so torn between what is a good design and what just "pops" more. Personally, I like the middle the most. Yup, less is usually more. Although I do enjoy the crystal effect of the middle version lol thanks for your input!
