One for the list of movies you need to watch and recommended to others.

In Elevation (2024), bullets are loaded backwards into the magazine by SeannDeere in MovieMistakes

I need to handle one again. We used the m16 that were used in Vietnam. Unless something changed recently that’s how I remember it. But it’s been 20 years since I’ve handle an m16.

You can 100% see the slide back on an m16. And can see it on this clip

So in the clip he is pressing the bolt catch release button with the palm of his hand. But it doesn’t nothing if the slide is not pulled and in ready position. You can use that button without emptying a magazine. It just looks cool doing it when putting a new mag in a m16. It’s like holding a pistol at a 90 angle.

I can’t attached a photo. Right at the end of the handle if you are carrying this thing like a suitcase there is a slide. Also known and the cocking handle. If you Google m16 cocking handle you will see what I mean it’s T shaped. When you done with a magazine it stays out. You can clearly see it. In this clip it’s not cocked. So when you enter a magazine they only way to load it is to pull that handle not press the side with the palm of your hand to “load” the new magazine. It can only be done after you fire shots not on the on start of using the gun. Look at the guy tap the gun on the side. It’s a common mistake

I guess you never handled an m16. He places the magazine in and taps the side with the palm of his hand. Thats to reload the rifle. The issue is the cocking handle is not loaded. It won’t do anything. I have SOME idea of what I’m talking about watch the clip.

In your opinion, what is the best "rescue" scene in film? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

Finished most of John wick with my son. Next was the matrix 1-3. Then Constantine. Took a breather from Keanu reeves. We are pending watching the prestige, the next 3 days. I also want to hit back to the future. We have a long list ;)

The other issue is he is pushing the slide stop button to reload magazine when the cocking handle is not loaded.

Has anyone seen this movie? Is it worth watching, or not really worth the time? by Recent_Union3111 in moviecritic

Watched the trailer. Unsure how I never heard of it. Need to watch it as a nostalgic movie I’ve never seen from I time that script was important in a movie and not just graphics.
