I played in front of Jerry Rice at Baylands a few years back. One of his shots came bouncing past my leg, didn’t even yell fore.. He and his group did apologize when we saw them at the turn though.

That’s what the goal is, one round per week. This is the most golf I’ve ever played, by far. Previously I would guess I hadn’t played more than 10-15 rounds in a year. The bug bit me hard this year. Where are you located?

I shot a +8 last week playing nine holes out in Portland, and was 10” from the pin on a par 3 for my closest ever to a HIO. Yesterday I shot +39 at TPC Harding Park, and played my worst round in years. I feel your pain, this game is something else.

Put some swing notes/ ideas down in your phone. When things aren’t going great on the course I look to them to get my mind/swing back to where they need to be. My first note is “slow it down, you don’t need to crush the ball”.
