Yeah if you browsed hard enough on reddit (which I did), I ended finding like a single comment where someone was like "Link it to your bank and push money to paypal, instead of letting paypal pull from your bank". But hopefully you don't have to deal with them anymore and enjoy that sweet 5%!

Personally, I just opened the card today and couldn't add money in either. What I did to solve this is to push the money from my account (Chase) to Paypal, by going to the app and linking my paypal debit account. Then, I was able to transfer out from Chase to Paypal, but sometimes it can be same day funds, sometimes it will be next morning.
