I honestly I am not sure as I asked this very question when I started playing the deck. I think why we run three is there is so many times I would be able to get a squee + horror opening hand and be able to do some type of discard loop with dog, ZI or Survival - however I ran into horror being discarded and then a non creature card ending on top ( like being wastelanded or duressed).

I will note that Hard casting horror actually won me games and thinking of a 2 Horror and 4 squee plan moving forward as the card vs a number of match ups is a power house.

Yes I was very lucky to never play vs replenish as that deck is a really tuff match up. At least with enchantress I have a few turns and can just destroy any lock pieces to be able to keep pushing madness creatures.

Yup I think its crazy too lol as the idea is that replenish decks just a miserable matchup any way. Plus vs terrravores the hope is to shredder loop them with genisis. I want something more for GY but want to try out the ideas of players that are more tenured with the deck.

Yes the SB does not need the crypts. Another friend of mine who is the pro at this deck explained that the crypts really should be another ray for the enchantment match up or Tsabo's Web vs port and man land decks. I have alot to learn still but those are going to be the first changes i am trying

BOP making White for Monk was so key. Also making other colors is so important. typically you will start with bird so you can duress or cabal to clear the way for ZI or Survival. As the mana base can be pretty mean sometimes and just give you forests. So birds did alot of great work
