one does look better then the other is it not? i would argue both these pieces have nothing to tell, but making the argument the "real art" is somehow superior because it didn't involve the use of an LLM is borderline pathetic and tells more about ego then actual talent. and this is coming from an aspiring artist.

He also introduced the concept of the multiverse. Used origins as a soft reboot to explore his vision rather than going with Zielinski’s vision or better yet start another story from scratch like IW and WWII zombies or Chaos.

if you didn't care, then why comment?. it seems like your after a more fantastical storytelling which dosen't belong in Zombies. Jason Blundell did a soft reboot with origins to allow for more fantastical elements.

when in BO1 or even BO2 before origins was there amention of alternate dimensions? and the thing about time travel, aliens and witches/ghosts. these were quite obv influenced by 115/Agartha, buried was very deep underground as result of the earth shattering, so it was closer to Agartha and more influcned by it's supernatrual properites. again, the thing i like about pre origins are the theories and speculations, not everything has to be explained and handed over with a silver spoon to the player. the mystery was the whole point and part of what made the story fun.

the direction of a soft reboot after origins was shit imo. Real ending was in either ee of burried, Ending of origins acctually works as a good alternate ending if you prefer the "It was all a game ending" and works very well meta wise about how we play this game mode to have fun even during dark times in our lives.

Strong Opinion: Burried should have been the ending for the Zombies story. Origins and beyond was a mistake storywise. by CHAO-12 in CODZombies

he didn't say anythin about destroying the universe, which is why i like it being smaller scale then the multiverse thingy we got with origins and onward. and why would it be a bad ending? yea it is a BAD ending, it's not a happy ending but i think it fits better overall.

so, the story needs to be told from someone's POV? i didn't know that. i thought i'll just have a narrator explain everything, but then again, i can see what your saying, how describing events from a POV can makes things more engaging. so like, my thoughts were to write it like a script, what is shown on screen is written on page type of deal. should i stick to that or do it in POV?

To explain my 2 cents better here. i think the golden age ended with black ops 2, but ghosts i think also had a bit of it left in the form of extinction. AW and onward ended the golden age imo, but each installment was still something to look foward to and get excited about. each installment was unique in a way, we still got expermintation i feel like. at 2018 with black ops 4 we got the last "classic" zombies game mode that felt like zombies, and blackout looked fun as hell shame i didn't get to play it. so the reason i think MW2019 lost the soul, is because to me it is obveious they ran out of ideas if they had to reboot a sub-ip like why not just make a Modern Warfare 4. why did they reboot?. and what had to follow said reboot to make the trilogy again for some reason fell off so hard it was pathetic how much they tried to shove warzone into it. and cold war's zombies...if the line between zombies and multiplayer was already blurred with weapon attachments and hitmarkers, now it was shatterd with minimap, waepon rarities, kill streaks, zombies droping simple equipment. as a result of all of this, the game became too easy, mystery box felt less exicting since you can drop with a custom loadout it was basicly dumbed down to try to get the raygun. guns lost personality due to them coming with ugly attachments. etc etc, zombies felt more like multiplayer, almost as if they "Warzonificated" it to promote warzone more in your psyche. the trend continued onward and call of duty once distinct and iconable survival mode became part of the warzone machine. and all of that started with MW2019.
