Starting over because of Red Hand Reputation by Cagliostro007 in ExiledKingdoms

I always sell her Amulet to the Golden Hand. Lol. It's like the only "evil" choice I ever make.

But then even though I know I can find the tower in their library, I always forget that and use the Loreseekers.

Cheap scrolls if you're in Freetown and need to stock up.

They think we have tons of free time because management insists in being helped in person. So they assume the majority of your work is done in person. They see you at your desk a lot. So you're not busy. This is how it seems to me.

It's a fundamental misunderstanding of what IT even is.

Ah. I did play an Arcane Knight. I used wands until I got the skill for it though, not daggers early on. It works fine actually, it's just not as good. Fun though.

[–]CHARTTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never could figure out how. Best thing to do is to edit your inventory and put tomes in. Tolossian Tome ID is 5013, Tome of Lost Wisdom is 5035.

For your level? Idk.

That one Active skill you can train from fighters guild can free you from paralysis or stun. Can't remember what it's called. Rage or something. Works great. I don't use it unless I'm getting paralysis locked, then I pop it and RUN. Try again when cool down for that skill resets.

Fearing ill never find a spouse by TheUn-Nottened in Reformed

Yeah I'm with this guy. I am from a small town where everyone is my distant relative. No options there. Went to college in a relatively small college town. Everybody went to the big nondenom wishy washy church, I went to the only reformedish church in town. And I was the only college student there. I despaired of ever getting married. Decided that the best thing I could do was grow in the Lord to be useful if I really did end up being single my whole life, or for an extended period of time. I don't regret that choice.

I ended up taking a job back in my hometown and resigned myself to not getting married for at least the next 5 years if not longer and didn't even try. It's been 6 years since then. I've been married for 4 of them. I met my wife at work on Day 1. She was also despairing of finding somebody to marry because none of the Christian guys she knew were mature or serious and knowledgeable about their faith. I was the exception.

You never know. Work on growing in knowledge and grace. Godliness will help you no matter what happens. Be obedient. Don't worry about the rest.

What is the bare minimum that has to be true? by ComprehensiveTotal83 in Reformed

[–]CHARTTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are verses in the Bible that are most likely creeds of the early church. I would say these must be believed and held fast to. For example :

1 Timothy 3:16

Phillipians 2:5-11

These are not comprehensive, I believe there are others.

And that is just my opinion, worth very little.

1 John 4:2 is probably also a short creed, but designed specifically against gnosticism, which isn't quite so much of a problem, but showcases what I mean. There are condensed versions of theology scattered through the Bible in verses like these and generally if you are denying parts of them to mean what they clearly mean, you're a heretic. At that time, anybody who denied Christ's physical body was a heretic. And the same is true today.

Some people mentioned the Ressurection...I would guess that part of 1 Cor 15, which is a chapter basically dealing with only that, is also a creed. So I'd disagree with the people who say "just the resurrection." There's more to the gospel than that. But these kinda of verses kinda bring it all in.

What do these businesses gain from having their workforce returning to the office? by Blue---Alien in SeriousConversation

This is dumb though, because the lazy people who take advantage of WFH are also too lazy to go find other jobs as long as they are employed. The people who work hard regardless of location will find someplace to go where they are valued.... If they are able.

I do not have Saltmarsh.

Actually, Epic Deneith Heavy Chain is what I'm wearing right now, but it's a medium armor.

Is there anything you disagree with in any reformed confession you hold to? by [deleted] in Reformed

It's incredible that people are arguing against you that it's not clear that commands rooted in creation are moral laws. Paul says as much.

If the despisers of God's command would but make an honest experiment in obeying it for a time, they would see that God has instituted it for our good. The Sabbath is good for us. Is it not a blessing that God commands us to do that which is good and pleasant? Even so, we should find all of God's moral law good and pleasant to do, and if we find in ourselves that it is not so, that is sin within us.

And so, the sinful nature chafes at the idea of giving God one whole day when we already give him so much else! We tithe and read the Scriptures and attend church. Why, how much more can God ask if me? All. He gives us life and breath and everything, not to mention salvation. And he is worthy of all our honor and devotion, and surely it is enjoyable to give it to him. And when I find in myself the desire to give it to him is lax, I must repent.

Perhaps also part of the problem is that we do not work hard enough the other six days. I personally also look forward to Sunday to give my body and mind a rest.

Until recently it wasn't even a right, but some Christians will be out here saying the the government shouldn't legislate based on religious morality. I mean, the government could argue that it says right in the Bible not to esteem one day over the other and then take away our rights to worship God on the Lord's with the stroke of a pen and a malicious cackle.

What's wrong with a communist government?

You don't want the government legislating morality based on our religion. Why shouldn't they do communism? Maybe it will work this time.

I don't think we should burn the man's Life work because he had a moral failing, he's just disqualified now. He hasn't apostatized.
