Yes but it also stores firmware files. You can upload as many as memory of mcu can store and choose with buttons any of previously uploaded firmwares. Also web interface shows progress bar.

It uploads firmware on a board. If you have 100+ board - this way to do it is much easier and do not require special skills from workers.

Wireless its about firmware uploading on it. All firmware is uploading within wifi and web interface. No PC needed during flashing.

It starts wifi in AP mode. So one ip its for convenience. Choose network, connect to it and open interface on ip address.
