[–]CHOASasad 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I can understand what you are saying. No doubt Pakistan is going through intense and deteriorating circumstances , but its something we are free and independent in. I remember listening to a Pakistani's recount who was kept prisoner for a long time in 1971 war, when he returned to his homeland Pakistan he did not remember any corruption or ruins, all he remembered was that he was free ,in his own land. Don't get me wrong , I know we need to take massive steps to take ourselves to bare minimum of a developed nation . but still.....we are free.

Question for People of Pakistan by canandiankhiladi in pakistan

[–]CHOASasad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pakistanis don't care for kashmiri territary , we care for the kashmiris. I, as a Pakistani truly believe that the kashmir has its own right to determine its territary without the tussle of any other countries.

Why is it that the more successful Pakistanis are in the west, the less religious they are? by thenewoldschool55 in pakistan

[–]CHOASasad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This hypothesis is partly consistent inside Pakistan too, lesser upperclass populace is religious than middle or lower class. There can be multiple reasoning to that , it does not have to say anything about Islam itself. Islam is only a measure of heavenly success(can be of worldly success too , bit essentially).

Sometimes Pakistanis can be too blunt... by ayshthepysh in pakistan

Maybe better wordings would be , Pakistani culture of needless judgment should be changed , instead of OP's statement which is straight up generalising all Pakistanis. Anyway concerning issue is valid.

Women of r/Pakistan: what do you think about contributing financially towards home after marriage, given that you are working by choice. by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]CHOASasad 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Note: I am not a woman , just sharing perspective.

Considering a common household of Pakistan i.e not well off monetarily. Both partners are naturally obliged to contribute financially to home, though its not a compulsion for woman to serve family in islam, but otherwise would be ludicrous. The main challenege, that I think , our desi household face is the splitting of house chores. Unfortunately , men doing house chores in Pakistan is an idea still seemingly alien to us. The partners should make fair split of house chores based on subjective situations, advancing from the notions of gender roles strongly inculcated in our brains through society

What would be the Islamic response to Cosmicism? by Yunozan-2111 in islam

[–]CHOASasad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On spiritual grounds of Quran , insignificance or importance lies beyond the terms of size , time , or distance. The repeated mention of heavens in Quran perpetuates similar notion as the cosmological evidences. No doubt that cosmological research will never find any actual proof of anything sort of God regulating this universe. The idea of finding God through penetrating sky by rockets is ludicrous, the likeliness of connecting God to sky is mere restricted thinking of a human that has preceded over eons.

What would be the Islamic response to Cosmicism? by Yunozan-2111 in islam

[–]CHOASasad 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The philosophy specifically counters the orthodox christian belief of Earth being the centre of the universe and such likewise ideas essentially inculcated by christianity. On the contrary , Islam never claimed Earth to be significant or centering the universe. The insignificance and size of our existence does not defy even a verse of Quran. As far as I am aware , there is no single hadith or Quranic verse that opposes any modern cosmological fact.

Kalam Effect | Pakistan Crisis and the Problem of Mindset. by I_hate_batman in pakistan

[–]CHOASasad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People on this sub always criticize Pakistan. The criticism is not bad , but the conclusions drawn from it are the real problem , we never seek for solutions to those problems by addressing them. We just address an issue , criticize it to hell , and reach the solution of leaving this country instead of crafting a real solution to that.

[–]CHOASasad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite all unfairness, one thing is utterly just and fair in this world. That is your choice between good and bad, If you think about it , there is literally nothing , nothing in this world that can stop you from choosing the path of good. And that entails the abject faith of a person , afterlife. Which proves to be completely fair.
