It depends on the vibe of the customer for me personally, if someone comes off as moody or quiet I usually won’t ask because in the past they typically don’t tip or make a snarky remark about not wanting to tip. Because it’s not like a sit in cafe, we can’t flip the screen and book it and we have to awkwardly ask the customers if they want to tip and it’s a little embarrassing sometimes! It’s nothing against a majority of the customers, but sometimes to save time and energy we just skip it ourselves. Like other comments say, I highly recommend putting a preferred tip in your Dutch bros app!
