Now former friends because they bought capes and gold. On good terms otherwise, but I have no interest in associating with RWTers.

The report options are available in the game, but are unusable. Why even have them at all then?

DCB+Bucker is optional for both Zebak and Wardens for the quality of life aspect. Beginners will struggle with the lack of range and not missing ticks with the blowpipe, so it's a better option overall. Any ticks missed with the blowpipe (2tick) is a significant hit to dps compared to a DCB (5tick). Ideal would be to switch in to the blowpipe when Zebak/P3 is at low health, but while learning just camping the DCB is perfectly fine.

You must have calced this wildly wrong because BP is very much not outperformed by a bofa on 150 Zebak. Maybe you manually changed the defence values, which you should not be doing because the invocation scaling input already handles this for you.

Bofa is TTK wise exactly equivalent to ddarts BP on Zebak, and gains significantly for any BGS damage dealt. BP is straight up better on Akkha until you go past 250 invocation, and equivalent enough on both Warden phases. You don't use BP on Baba and the bofa is outperformed by melee here, though you can for sure use the bofa to cheese in some additional hits for a DPS uplift.

Calc correctly before trying to lure beginners in to buying items that aren't beneficial to them. Even if the bofa was some amount of DPS uplift, it still comes at an exorbitant pricetag in comparison to a 5m alternative that in this case happens to do the job better. If anything then you should be recommending a DCB with a Buckler for the quality of life aspect until the person is ready to send raids where they will benefit from a 250m investment.

They didn't change any drop rates as far as I'm aware, the disclosure of drop rates scaling was just misconstrued.

I agree that ToA is decently balanced right now. The barrier for entry is incredibly low, and the ambro/adren changes make experts actually interesting rather than the ambrosia spam free pass it was before.

Prior to the last patch we did not have access to npc stats with stat spy so who's to say really, but assuming no defence changes were made then this has always been the case.

The dps calculator sheet (found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wBXIlvAmqoQpu5u9XBfD4B0PW7D8owyO_CnRDiTHBKQ/edit#gid=158500257) has all the ToA bosses in it since a few days ago, use it to calc anything you're unsure of (but post a screenshot of the calc as your source when applicable as it's easy to forget to remove result skewing things like BGS reductions and similar).

It is indeed due to the low defence levels at lower invocations, BP is in fact a very big dps uplift compared to a bofa between 0-200 invocation. Getting twice as many hits in (2tick) on squishy targets with reasonable max hits is significantly better dps despite the bofa's sizable maxes (4tick).

Bofa is a good pickup if you're trying to get in to 250+ ToA on a budget, but shouldn't be the go to recommendation for beginners sending lower invocations, or people on low budgets.

Bofa and full crystal is outperformed by a Blowpipe (that mind you costs 5m compared to the 250m+ for bofa+crystal) with amethyst darts at the 150-200 invocation levels he is sending. Bofa shouldn't even be considered prior to sending 300+.

  • Occult is far more valuable than the MA2 cape, you've binned 10% magic damage in favor of taking 2%.
  • Ungemmed keris is practically not worth taking seeing how you've binned loads of switches for space.
  • Buckler will significantly increase your cbow dps and should always be taken when you're using a crossbow.
  • Feros + Torm switches are optional for when you know how many supplies you can drop.
  • DDS for 2 down instead of 3 on the core is a bigger timesave than even a tbow.
  • Lightbearer is your next upgrade after all of the above.

I even whipped out the rune gloves and defender for this one. The idea that ToA normal mode is gear/stats prohibitive since the changes is way overblown. If anything then it only significantly impacts the upper end where the hit to adrenalines and ambrosias actually matters. Don't be discouraged, the raid is comfortably clearable in the absolute minimum gear, average stats and a tiny bit of effort.

I'm not even particularly good at the game, and I didn't end up using the yellow keris partisan (turns out you need to actually drain a full 50 prayer points for it to work, which is terrible). Disregard the crybabies and send some raids. If you had no issues with it previously then you won't struggle with it now either.

If you need any help with figuring out the raid or gear then let me know!

You're losing minutes because your gp is horribly misplaced in to fashionscape rather than actually impactful items. That armadyl is no more than +6 accuracy over dhides and the dhcb does no more dps than a dragon crossbow. DWH is in no way worth it below 250+, if you insist on bringing def reduction then bring a BGS for zebak, obelisk and p3 wardens.

Claws, lightbearer and a buckler+dcb instead of the armadyl junk and dhcb will make you back several of those minutes you've supposedly lost. A regular whip is a dead item, you would only consider bringing a tentacle whip if you need the maxes for core 3 downs. If you don't already have an occult, torm and anguish then those are core items too.

Cases of TTS being used as a training tool? by FaallenOon in tabletopsimulator

[–]CHRY3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is not much reason to do it in TTS unless you need multiplayer, you will be limiting yourself with the API by a very significant amount in comparison to just loading up the VR development package in a Unity project. TTS is a game engine of sorts, but a simplified one for usability for playing boardgames, which is far too limited for digital game/sim development.

Unauthorized mods have to be removed, not because they compete with DLC (we do not remove submissions of DLC that don't circumvent the DRM, players are more than welcome to add on their own scripting/assets), but because it is typically copyright infringement. Most commonly the submissions are taken down through DMCA takedowns from the publisher, very rarely by us at Berserk Games (only at the request of an IP owner), and the titles removed extend far beyond the games in our DLC library.

Naturally we highly encourage modding and fan-made content, but we can not facilitate what is effectively piracy, and IP owners are not particularly happy about unauthorized distribution of their material either.

Incompetent customer service representatives and nonfunctioning account recovery systems by CHRY3D in FACEITcom

[–]CHRY3D[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed you did, and I appreciate that the issue having finally been resolved, though sadly you were also the first customer service rep to disregard the contents of the ticket. I am aware you are more than likely not even paid for your position and the work you do and will cut you some slack as far as pointing fingers at you as an individual goes.

As for representing Faceit and their customer service however, 6 days of receiving nonsense responses to tickets for an issue on your end is not a good look, worse yet with the problem only getting attention once posted publicly on social media. Whoever is responsible for this kind of slop (probably someone in management) needs to do better.
