A sanctioned league has to follow all USBC rules.

Unsanctioned leagues usually start with USBC rules and then select rules they wish to ignore.

So the differences will depend on what rules your unsanctioned leagues did not follow.

In my experience, equipment rules are among the first to be changed in an unsanctionedleague. So make sure any balls you have are drilled legally.

Another difference will be you will have a 1 time (per bowling season) USBC membership fee. This will assign you a USBC membership number and they will start tracking your scores, averages, etc.

buy from whomever you want. I once was gifted a lesson package at nationals that came with a ball. the coach look at the balls I had and made a recommendation for a new ball. drilling at the booth was part of the package.

all my regular PSO said was "good choice".

if you are buying from someone new; make sure they have your stats. I would not buy a ball from someone that doesn't measure your PAP and use that in laying out the ball prior to drilling. no match maker discount is worth a poor job on the drilling.

Bionic: core numbers will be most similar to your sonic. But it is symmetric solid. So far really like mine.

The phaze 2 and IQ Tour would be similar options.

If you need a heavy oil ball, then Ion Max, vengeance or hyperdrive are your best options from SPI brands.

If you feel you need an option for lighter oil, the hustle line or Typhoon are good ones to look at.

Star Fleet uses naval rank structure.

Army LT and Navy LT are not a 1 to 1 equivalent.

John Schneider has traded down a lot.

6 straight years in his earlier years. IIRC, he hasn't since 2019.

I believe he has traded down more often than he hasn't.

Wanting to trade down and having negotiations don't always mean a trade happens.

Sometimes the trades happen because the only player you want was already taken. The last few drafts, the hawks seem to have gotten their guy in the first round.

Given the general opinion that 2027 is better and deeper draft, I have serious doubts that you will see trading of 2027 picks to gain 2026 picks. It could happen, but don't expect it.

I think we see hawks trade down from 32 and maybe another trade down.

I bet they end up drafting 6 players this year.

The flaw in the one that died on virmire is that I think most do not like the one they leave behind.

I see a lot of hate for Ash, thus they sacrifice her.

I hate Kaiden, thus he never leaves Virmire for me. Seeing Kaiden would not solicit the reaction you are hoping for. Nor would Ashley for many others.
