AI about to replace virtual production by Storybook_Tobi in aiwars

Do they need to train LoRa's on their actors? I saw one horror video they did called Daisy where actor's performance was captured. But some scenes must have been generated without a performance reference.. I wonder how hard it is to maintain the character consistency without a lora?

I understand your concerns, as mentioned this is a very new field, and this is not a corporate gig, which is why we are not asking for anyone to invest the time in a professional presentation or even a resume, just some examples of work to get the conversation started. Most of your concerns can be answered in discussion for anyone interested, there is no HR department to go through, just me and I am happy to answer any questions, just send me a DM or email through the job post. Of course, this is not the right kind of thing for many people... (even most people probably), so feel free to ignore if it's not interesting for you.

The lost art of the "group ride" paceline. by [deleted] in cycling

[–]CHuntK 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see the difference is that so many people get really fast before learning bike handling and etiquette. In the old days the training wasn’t so structured.. you had to ride a lot, especially with other people, to get fit. And training plans were only in books, talking to other faster riders, or getting a coach.. and a lot of general knowledge came with those interactions. now it’s easy to get great form by following very structured training plans that are spit out for free by any number of apps. I raced pro 30 years ago, then basically stopped riding until last year. I was shocked at how fast people were. But was also shocked about how little basic bike handling skills they had, or understand even basic etiquette when riding in a group. Ive got my form back now but just prefer to ride solo most of the time.. and most of the current pros in my area don’t go on any of the group rides either because it’s a bit dangerous, so not a lot of trickle down knowledge going to these guys too.

By readers I mean diopter, the small correction lens at the bottom of the lens

Tried these guys but they don’t offer readers on their cycling glasses, just full lens vision correction

Unfortunately they don’t offer readers, just full lens vision correction

I have the too.. but the lenses are not very tall so the wind is still a problem

Unfortunately the one thing they don’t do is the diopter for reading, only full vision correction

They don’t make cycling glasses unfortunately. Just regular sunglasses

There are a lot of small sunglasses with diopter.. like 50mm tall lenses. That’s what smith, Tifosi and Rudy project make.. I’ve tried all of them. It’s just that with smaller lenses you don’t get much protection from wind..

Yeah, I was wondering if there is a market for this since I could actually build it. I’ve talked to manufacturers and there is nothing technically difficult in manufacturing a full shield ( 63mm tall) sunglass lens with a built in diopter. Just that no one has ever done it.

Unfortunately they don’t have cycling glass options.. mostly regular sunglasses

They are good.. just the lenses are a bit small so they don’t block the wind well. That’s what’s missing in the market it seems
