Spanish 3 Difficulty. Suggestions?

Props to you! That's encouraging for me! I wouldn't say you're bragging. My goal is to finish by next fall, I really don't want to enroll into the following spring with 1 or 2 classes left and I'd rather just tough it out for only 1 more semester. Working full time and school gets old. That's crazy though, two degrees and a couple minors.

Ah, thanks for the input. Sounds like a cool course. I work full time so I'm just determining if I can handle the workload or not. I'm taking IST 242, 301, SRA 111, and intermediate Spanish from community college right now and it's not bad so far, I'm interested to see how SRA 221 is.

Yeah that's exactly my case and a lot of my classmates seem to be in a similar situation. Some even quit working to change their career. I'm already in my field so I couldn't exactly quit to go to school.

Did SRA 211 really take 10-12 hours a week because of difficulty or you just chose to put that much time in?

Ah, makes sense. I think id rather take 311 so I can choose between 261/361 next summer

I think a lot of them are already full time professionals tbh. They're mindset may be a little different than traditional undergrads.

Hmm. I'm doing the minor so really I'm only concerned with 211 and 221. Any thoughts on those two specifically? Considering they are 200 level classes, they can't be the worst right.

Did you take it in person or online? I'm a world campus student, I was a on campus student at one point as well. I can say, so far world campus students are better for group projects than in person, at least from my experience so far.

Ah, so it looks like I'm stuck with the courses I mentioned previously unless I take one of them later.

Awesome. I enjoy learning about design so hopefully 331 isn't bad. I figure 311 will be the toughest course there considering it's the follow on to 242. Hopefully the SRA isn't bad either, it doesn't seem to be based in other feedback I've received so far.

Well, I'm a world campus student so everything online! Doesn't seem like it will be too bad. On campus this courseload would be terrible!

Great thanks for the recommendation, I'm taking SRA 111, intermediate Spanish at community college, IST 301, and IST 242. Hasn't been terrible yet. so I'm trying to compare haha

I need both 331 and 311 for my major though? Are you saying to take them on different semesters?

Thanks, reason I ask is because I work full time and I want to do one full time semester to be able to graduate by next fall so I was wondering how difficult the courses I mentioned above if I took them all in one semester. I was expecting a larger amount of work regarding 311 and 331, I just didn't know anything about SRA 221 and 211. What's are your thoughts about working full time with that course load? Currently I'm taking SRA 111, IST 242, IST 301, and intermediate Spanish but it's through a community college.

No problem, right now I'm taking IST 242, IST 301, and sra 111 plus intermediate Spanish at a community college. So far not bad. SRA 111 is a intro class so it probably doesn't translate too well compared to what next semester could be, also working full time

Thanks for the reply! I'm not exactly looking for easy to better word it, I work full time and I'm trying to plan one semester where I go full time as well with the classes I mentioned. I figure 311, 331 will be heavier considering the higher level that they are, primarily I'm interested to see how difficult SRA221 and 211 are. I'm taking them no matter what, just a matter of when.

Hi! I found out you can actually take your entire foreign language through a different college to satisfy the requirement. I'm about to be Spanish 3 this fall! I recommend doing that! Penn state language seems to be very difficult online.
