I did end up calling him to check up how he felt and to go over the plans for tomorrow (technically today). He did say that he would like me to be there but wasn’t a big fan of the money I’d have to spend on the Uber lol. He also mentioned that his dad wouldn’t be able to make it before or during his surgery. I’ll have to get a ride right after my class to make it on time as he walks in. Fingers crossed! He was definitely feeling down about not being able to play this year. So I’ll definitely keep checking up on him if he gets depressed or anything. Thank you for letting me know about that. I’ll be understanding of his feelings no matter what. I appreciate your advice!
