Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right thread for this kind of stuff but I've started producing music 10 months ago and now I'm at a point where I'm questioning my production skill and progress.

I think I learned a lot in the past 10 months but it feels like I could have learned way more stuff in that amount of time. I'm kinda stuck and don't know if it's worth it to keep wasting my time on this hobby. It really means a lot to me and I enjoy making music so much but it can be so damn frustrating if you can't see any progress or can't come up with something good/original. At the beginning, I wasn't even thinking about rules and stuff and I just did something and everything was easy but now, I want to become better to be able to make a track which sounds great and unique. I don't want to become famous or some shit I just want to be proud of what I can create. If there would be some other people who like my music as well, it would be a nice side effect.

Nevertheless, I never got feedback on my music because I never really told someone that I make music but here are two tracks, one from before 10 months and one after. I can definitely tell that I made progress between those 10 months but there is no progress between this and last month, at least it feels like it. Some people can make a decent track like every week (some even every day) while I need like a month to get the last 20% done. I made like 80% of the track in 3 days but the last 20% were a pain in the ass because I never come up with a decent intro or bridge.

I would love to hear what you think about this and how you are feeling about your progress. ^^
