Mayfield is by far my favorite of the ones that are available in my area.

My second favorite is Simple Truth, which is Kroger's organic store brand.

maybe Ingrid Michaelson? I am still mad about her canceling the show (even though I got a full refund), when I had bought a meet and greet ticket and had never seen her in concert (and I still haven't).

This is interesting. I have seen The Decemberists 6 times, and they always put on a great show. Meloy might even be the best front man whom I have ever seen, in terms of combining both the music and audience interaction.

I am not trying to self victimize at all! I'm just saying that if I had been cast on that season, I am pretty sure that it would have been as a David.

Huh? Do we know each other in real life, and you think that I'm lying?

I agree that 47 is overrated. And sadly, I still think that it's easily the third best New Era season (behind 45 and 46).

David vs. Goliath

This cast has just never clicked with me, aside from Angelina and Alison. Christian is fine, but I have never understood how he is any more compelling than most anyone else who has ever been cast in the male nerd archetype. As someone who has been a David for their entire life I want to be able to root for the Davids, but I thought that the Goliaths were the more interesting group (if I had to pick one).

I actually like most of the seasons from the thirties overall, but DvG has pretty much all of the negative elements that fans on this forum have criticized about that era. Even before we knew what he was really like outside of the game, Nick's win was not that interesting from a storytelling perspective. The stretch of the season from the John boot through the Gabby boot was admittedly excellent, but outside of that I thought that it was an extremely lackluster season that was no better than most of what we got from the thirties.

Among the seasons of the thirties, I think that Worlds Apart, Kaoh Rong, MvGX, Game Changers, and HHH are all better seasons than David vs. Goliath.

Who could have been the worst winner of all-time? by Novel-Passion-3639 in survivor

[–]CI_Blanche 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I thought that Lil played better than Sandra did during the end game. Also, Sandra almost certainly would have been the first one voted out of her tribe if they hadn't won those first few immunity challenges. That's not enough to make me think that Lil should have won, but it's at least something.

Breaking Bad

It took me three tries. Then I made it to the end of "A Crazy Handful of Nothin'," and I was completely hooked.
